Audi Hungaria remains committed to Győri Audi ETO KC and the Ballet Company of Győr

Győr, 14 October 2021 – The successful cooperation with two prominent companies of the city of Győr continues: Audi Hungaria has committed to Győri Audi ETO KC and the Ballet Company of Győr for another three years. Alfons Dintner, Chairman of the Board of Management of Audi Hungaria, Kinga Németh, Member of the Board of Management of Audi Hungaria responsible for Human Resources and Organisation, Dr. Csaba Bartha, President of the renowned handball club, and László Velekei, Director of the Ballet Company of Győr, signed the new three-year sponsorship contract at Audi Hungaria today.

As one of the most successful handball teams in the world, Győri AUDI ETO KC's story has been one of resounding success, while the Ballet Company of Győr is the most important representative of the genre in Hungary, performing on the most famous stages in the world. We are overjoyed to extend our partnership for another three years. As the largest employer in the region, it is a fundamental principle for Audi Hungaria to contribute to the development of the region and raise the living standards of the people living here," said Alfons Dintner, Chairman of the Board of Management of Audi Hungaria.

It gives us great pleasure to be able to contribute to these outstanding achievements," added Kinga Németh, Member of the Board of Management of Audi Hungaria responsible for Human Resources and Organisation.

In addition to sponsoring the AUDI ETO KC women's team, Audi Hungaria is also the title sponsor of the Audi Arena Győr multifunctional hall, which has been home to the women's handball team since 2014, and also serves as the venue of a number of high-quality events that enrich the cultural offerings of the city of Győr.

"Tradition and innovation" – this is the motto of the Ballet Company of Győr, which both defines the past and sets the direction for the future. The aim of the ensemble is ongoing professional development, artistic education of up-and-coming generations and a high-standard presence in the art of dancing that is unique on both national and international stages. "Quality connects us," added László Velekei, Director of the Ballet Company of Győr.

Audi Hungaria has sponsored the Ballet Company of Győr since 1997, and became the ensemble's chief sponsor in 2002. In addition, in 2013 the company established the Award for Quality Dance, given every year to a dancer of the Ballet Company of Győr in recognition of their outstanding performance. The winner is selected by a three-member board of trustees, and in addition to the Award for Quality Dance, the dancers also receive a large cash prize.
