Audi Hungaria was the first company in Hungary to introduce the German-style dual vocational training. The company has been operating its training program for 25 years now, with the goal of enabling future professionals to master their chosen trades in a real-world industrial setting using state-of-the-art technologies. Over the past quarter-century, more than 2,600 people have earned vocational qualifications through the program, and most of them began their professional careers as employees of Audi Hungaria. Since 2001, the company has spent more than 2 billion forints on developing its training center.

It is a particularly significant achievement that a large proportion of our graduates go on to build their careers at our company, while others are building their futures by continuing their education or pursuing a new career. “I wish all our students a successful and inspiring school year,” said Kinga Németh, a Member of the Board of Management of Audi Hungaria responsible for Human Resources and Organization.

Through its practice-oriented training, the company not only imparts professional knowledge but also emphasizes the development of competencies that are essential in the age of the modern automotive industry and digitalization. Students can gain practical experience at the Audi Academy’s training center, which spans more than 10,000 square meters, as well as in the company’s various specialist areas. Once again this year, the greatest interest was shown in industrial automation and automotive trades, while training programs related to digitalization and information technology are gaining increasing prominence.

Audi Academy, the training centre of Audi Hungaria collaborates with the Audi Hungaria School Centre and the four institutions of the Győr Vocational Training Centre to provide young people with high-quality, market-relevant knowledge. Thanks to strategic partnerships that date back several years, an exemplary dual training system has been established in the region, which supports both the region’s workforce development and its industrial competitiveness year after year. For years, students have achieved outstanding results in vocational competitions and successfully passed their vocational exams.

The program’s success is clearly demonstrated by the fact that, of the students who graduated in 2026, every young person who wished to work at Audi Hungaria received a job offer from the company. More than 50 graduates joined the company as employees, while several others decided to remain in the dual vocational training program to qualify for another occupation. As for the young people who wished to continue their studies in higher education, they were successfully admitted to the institutions of their choice.

In addition to imparting technical knowledge, Audi Hungaria also places a strong emphasis on ensuring that its trainees can begin their careers well-prepared, confident, and as part of a supportive community. The program supports young people's development through mentoring, meetings with professional role models, community events, and participation in sustainability projects.

In addition to dual vocational training, Audi Hungaria’s training programs also support the continuous professional development of its employees. To that end, in 2026, the company will provide fifty employees with the opportunity to earn a new vocational qualification during work hours through a targeted, flexible, and shortened electrician training program. The initiative aligns well with the company's technological development and future competency needs.

The Győr-based company’s partner companies and suppliers also draw on the Audi Academy’s training expertise. The company's training programs provide employees of other businesses with the opportunity to obtain up-to-date, practice-oriented professional qualifications

Audi Hungaria currently offers dual vocational training programs in several fields, including automation, mechatronics, mechanical engineering, information technology, automotive technology, and sales.
