Audi Hungaria: Recognition for Outstanding Young Talents in Dual Vocational Training

Győr, June 30, 2026 – Audi Hungaria held its “Our Trainees at the Forefront – Beste Auszubildende 2026” awards ceremony today, at which the company, together with its partners, recognized the most outstanding students participating in dual vocational training. The event focused on the performance, dedication, and development of young professionals, highlighting the importance of practice-oriented education for the future of the rapidly evolving automotive industry.

At the ceremony, executives of Audi Hungaria and Audi Academy presented awards to the top-performing trainees in each profession, as well as to those students who achieved outstanding competition results at the “Szakma Sztár Festival,” thereby demonstrating their professional excellence and commitment. The company’s training sites played an active role in the development of these talented young individuals, and their contributions were also acknowledged during the event. The graduates of the 2026 cohort were also recognized, having successfully completed their training and laid a solid foundation for launching their professional careers.

“The achievements of today’s award winners clearly demonstrate that knowledge, perseverance, and dedication go hand in hand with success. We are particularly proud that these young talents have already achieved a level of professional excellence during their training that strengthens the future of our company. For us, dual education is a long-term investment: we are building a community where young people can develop in a real industrial environment and develop their full potential. Today’s recognitions therefore not only reflect individual success, but also the results of strong partnership and joint efforts. I congratulate all award winners and wish them continued success in their careers,” said Kinga Németh, Member of the Board of Management for Human Resources and Organization at Audi Hungaria.

Audi Hungaria’s dual training program continues to provide a stable foundation for young people: in the current academic year, nearly 150 new trainees have started their training, and more than 300 young people are currently enrolled in the company’s dual training programme.

This year again, the strongest interest was shown in industrial automation and automotive occupations, while training programs related to digitalization and IT are gaining increasing importance. The growing popularity of the IT systems and application operations technician profession clearly reflects this trend. The company is currently focusing on strengthening future-oriented skills, alongside the targeted further development of existing training programs.

This year, Audi Hungaria celebrates a milestone, as it has been operating its dual vocational training system based on the German model for 25 years. Today, the programme has become a national benchmark and one of the key pillars of vocational training in the automotive industry. The company remains committed to practice-oriented education aligned with market needs, with a strong focus on the targeted development of future professionals.

Over the past years, more than 2,600 young people have acquired up-to-date professional knowledge and indispensable key competencies for the labor market at the company; the majority of them have successfully entered the labor market, many beginning their careers at Audi Hungaria.

The training program is implemented in cooperation with institutions of the Győr Vocational Training Centre, the Audi Hungaria School Centre, and Széchenyi István University. Trainees acquire their professions in a modern, real industrial environment: in addition to the more than 10,000-square-meter training center, they also gain hands-on experience in powertrain and vehicle production. Over the past 25 years, the company has invested more than HUF 2 billion in the development of its training center.

The “Our Trainees at the Forefront – Beste Auszubildende” award is not only a recognition of individual achievements, but also a celebration of the shared success of vocational trainers, partner companies and educational institutions. The initiative reflects the company’s strong commitment to the development of young talents and the long-term availability of a skilled workforce.

This year, Audi Hungaria was awarded the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s “Dual Training Company of the Year – 2026” award in the large enterprise category. This recognition further confirms the outstanding professional cooperation carried out by the company’s colleagues and trainers in close partnership with partner schools and organizations.
