The Volkswagen Group organises the Best Apprentice Award every year. As in previous years, this year's winners included a student from Audi Hungary. Márk Horváth's professional excellence is reflected in his achievements, as he won 1st place in the national professional competition in 2023 and 2024, in the fields of automotive engineering and and alternative drive systems. He was also recognised as the best apprentice in his profession at Audi Hungaria in 2024.

Audi Hungaria, a pioneer of dual vocational training in Hungary, has been operating its programme based on the German model for 25 years now. Over the years, more than 2,500 students have already gained a professional qualification. Most of them started their careers at Audi Hungaria, and nearly 1,000 former students are currently working for the four rings. The company maintains a relationship with Audi Hungaria School Centre Győr and 5 schools of the Győr Vocational Training Centre. Their cooperation is close and wide-ranging. Students acquire a wide range of theoretical and practical knowledge in 4 groups of trades: engineering, specialised engineering and automotive, electronics and electrical engineering as well as commerce, including 12 different trades in automotive, automation, metallurgy and economic disciplines. This year, more than 200 students graduated from Audi Hungaria's dual training programme.

Again this year, the most popular occupations were automation-related ones and mechanical engineering.
The students learn about professional skills and production processes at the Audi Academy, the company's training centre covering more than 10,000 square metres, and in the production areas of the powertrain and vehicle plant. Since 2001, Audi Hungaria has invested more than HUF 2.5 billion in the development of the training centre.
In addition to the development of the training centre's facilities, Audi Hungaria pays special attention to local training cooperation with the Győr Vocational Training Centre and Széchenyi István University. Thanks to this, two training areas have been opened up for certified technician training. In addition, several professions offer young people the opportunity to have their vocational training recognised as academic credit if they go on to further education.
In addition to vocational training, it is also important to develop students' personal and social skills. This is also supported by long-term partnerships, including the continuous professional and methodological development of trainers.
The dual training in administrative fields, the "foreign language industrial and commercial technician" course run jointly with the Audi Hungaria School Centre, is also a great success.
During the training, theoretical and practical skills are taught in parallel and in a complementary way in the educational institutions and in the partner companies. Upon completing their studies, young people can enter the labour market and start their professional careers with competitive skills, knowledge of manufacturing processes and relevant work experience.
