• Four priority projects in the Győr region
Győr, 12 September 2016—employees of AUDI HUNGARIA MOTOR Kft. are highly committed to supporting social projects in the spirit of social responsibility. Now they demonstrated this again, on the third Volunteer Day of Audi Hungaria. 500 employees did volunteer work in 30 social projects in the region on Saturday.
“I am proud that volunteering is of such a great importance and has such a long tradition at Audi Hungaria”, Dr. Elisabeth Knab, Member of the Board of Management for Human Resources of AUDI HUNGARIA MOTOR Kft. said. “This Saturday, kindergartens, schools and social institutes were renewed by the helping hands of Audi employees, just to mention a few. Our colleagues participated in the projects with great enthusiasm to make the living conditions of the needy better. With their personal commitment, they further strengthen the engagement of our company in the areas of culture, sports and social initiatives.”
On the Volunteer Day, 30 employee-initiated projects were realized by Audi employees in cooperation with the institutions chosen. Among the priority projects were the full restoration of the Emergency Station of Győr, the redecoration of classrooms at Bárczi Gusztáv primary school, the restoration of the School of Dance and Fine Arts of Győr or the development of the “Garden of Angels” for handicapped and underprivileged children.
On this year’s Volunteer Day, employees of Audi Hungaria did volunteer work in the towns Győr, Győrszentiván, Ménfőcsanak, Gyirmót, Komárom-Szőny, Bőny, Pér, Töltéstava, Écs, Pannonhalma, Bársonyos, Rábaszentmihály, Rábapatona, Bősárkány, Abda and Halászi.
