The misson of the Finance Department is to take care of the company’s accounting, financial, customs and fiscal duties. Audi Hungaria is the second largest company in Hungary, and the biggest exporter. In the factory, 7000 engines and 270 sports cars are produced each day. From this, it may be guessed what inventory and financial movements take place every day in our company.
Controlling includes three main areas:
- Plant Controlling, being responsible for preparing short and long term plans, forecasts, analyses, economic calculations, the examination of the labour and overhead costs of the plant.
- A Product Controlling is first of all responsible for the determination of the costs of various products of AHM such as engines, various assembled and processed parts, finished cars with basic or individual trim levels and bodywork elements produced in small batches.
- A Corporate Controlling is responsible for profit planning, the co-ordination of planning work and the control of goal attainment, the LAP 5-year plan, the Annual Budget, the year-end forecast based on the VSI actual figures and actual information and the preparation of concern-level reports.
The two major areas of Purchasing:
Serial Purchasing with the mission of ensuring the cost-effective purchase of parts and assembly services. Their activities: searching for potential suppliers, LPT support, the development and coaching of suppliers, pre-Audit negotiations, potential analysis, Global Sourcing and Forward Sourcing activity for assembly and part purchasing.
General Purchasing deals with the purchasing of non-serial products and services, that is, with all purchasing requirements for goods that are not to be built directly into the engines or cars that we produce, as well as services that are required for the operation of the factory.
