The team currently consists of 110 persons (first of all designers and development engineers) and 4 subordinated areas according to the various engine types.

In the area of block-testing stands, stand operators, pallet preparing and engine-fitting colleagues work in close cooperation with the development engineers; they deal first of all with running and examining the engines to be tested on the benches.

Major tasks of the development engineers in Győr::

• 1. support of serial production
• 2. further development of serial engines
• 3. development of new engine types that are not yet in serial production

The support of serial production means first of all quick reaction on the comments arriving from the assembly shop and from quality assurance; standardization of parts and the support of new engine testing procedures. The further development of serial engines means the adjustment to the more and more rigorous environmental procedures and the exploration and implementation of cost reducing opportunities. In the process of the development of new engine types, our engineers co-ordinate experimental engine constructions, support the scaling-up of production and work in close cooperation with the mother company and the German development engineers.
